A leading name within the Water Treatment / Commissioning industry is recruiting for an experienced engineer in the South East of England.

Daily duties will include:

  • BSRIA flushing works, chlorinations and system cleans/disinfections.

Our client is seeking someone with a strong track record within the industry and excellent hands-on experience, able to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be joining a well-known outfit that can offer fantastic further training and development. Salaries on offer are excellent, and benefits include overtime opportunities, company vehicle, annual leave and pension scheme.

You will be travelling across: Chelmsford, Maldon, Witham, Colchester, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, Hockley, South Woodham Ferrers, Rochford, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Southend-on-Sea, Grays, Tilbury, Hornchurch, Romford, Epping, Harlow, Ilford, Chigwell, Barking, Cheshunt, Enfield, Barnet, Potters Bar, Erith, Dartford, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working as a Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer
  • Excellent working knowledge of BSRIA and ACOP L8 guidelines
  • Able to work both independently and within teams on projects
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Able to travel in line with company needs
  • Hardworking attitude

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform power-flushing and back-flushing on systems
  • Chemical dosing
  • Pre-commissioning cleans in line with BSRIA compliance guidelines
  • Chlorinations on LTHW and CHW systems
  • Tank cleans and pipework chlorinations
  • Acid descales
  • Producing detailed service reports
  • Adhering to safety standards
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
