The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.
As an experienced Reinsurance Technician, this is an ideal opportunity for you to utilise your knowledge and to assist other colleagues. You will play a crucial role in managing and calculating pro-rata allocations for various Reinsurance contracts using your experience across a range of areas and portfolios including XOL, Treaty or Facultative. You'll maintain strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets while also understanding issues, resolving problems and queries. This is a hybrid role where you will be able to work both from home and the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage the client support activities, including governance and compliance.
- Calculate and allocate pro-rata premiums and claims for reinsurance contracts.
- Support, assist and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed including leading training sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Reinsurance concepts, ideally including treaty and facultative Reinsurance, proportional and non-proportional structures.
- Successful client management and relationship building.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, markets, and colleagues at all levels.
- A positive attitude, willingness to offer and deliver ideas and solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex Reinsurance contracts and resolve discrepancies.
- Consistent guidance through mentoring and/or training colleagues.
