Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children with play‑based learning and daily activities
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and positive nursery environment
- Assisting nursery practitioners with day‑to‑day routines
- Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Supporting meal times, indoor and outdoor activities, and personal care routines
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- A childcare qualification is beneficial but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children within early years settings
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
