Your new company is a value-led charity committed to delivering meaningful and lasting benefits to the communities it serves. Its property assets play a critical role in supporting charitable activities, generating sustainable income and enabling long-term social impact. The organisation is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Assets and Development to lead the effective management, development and optimisation of its property portfolio.

Your new role involves reporting directly to the COO, with overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the organisation's property assets. This includes leading and delivering the organisation's asset management strategy to ensure long-term financial sustainability, overseeing property development and regeneration projects, managing acquisitions, disposals, lease events and valuations. You will also be responsible for line managing two individuals and contributing to wider organisational strategy as a member of the senior leadership group. This is a full-time opportunity based on a 35 hour working week, with hybrid working available.

What you'll need to succeed: In order to be successful for this role, you will be educated to degree level or have a professional qualification in a property related field. You should have significant experience in land, property, asset management or development, and experience of managing complex commercial deals and leading property transactions. You should have experience managing and leading people and be comfortable balancing commercial objectives with organisational objectives. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for work purposes.
