Purchase Ledger Clerk
A well-established company based in the Cheadle area requires an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its small, close‑knit finance team.
Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match, batch and code invoices.
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Manage payment runs.
- Assist with month‑end processes.
- Maintain accurate records within the finance system.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience in a high‑volume purchase ledger role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using COINS software is highly advantageous.
- Confidence working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting.
