Are you an enthusiastic and motivated KS2 Class Teacher looking for flexible teaching work across Rotherham primary schools? Academics are recruiting dedicated KS2 teachers to support a range of friendly and inclusive schools throughout Rotherham on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

Position: KS2 Class Teacher
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 130 - 190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you

About the Role
As a KS2 Class Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging and structured lessons across Years 3-6, helping pupils develop academically while preparing them for future stages of education. This KS2 Class Teacher role provides excellent flexibility and the opportunity to experience a variety of school settings across Rotherham while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom. You will support pupils in developing confidence, resilience, and independence within a supportive and well-managed learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities
  • Support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing
  • Prepare pupils for assessments and SATs where applicable
  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and leadership teams
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching within KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Adaptable and positive teaching approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
