On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs, we are looking for a Cast Operator for a 12 month contract based in Derby. In this role, you would work on a 4-shift pattern (12 hour shifts - 4 days on, 4 days off).

Purpose of the role

Operate and monitor casting furnaces to transform ceramic moulds into high-quality cast products. Work collaboratively within a team to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced engineering environment. Ensure adherence to strict health & safety standards while driving continuous improvement in processes and product quality.

What you’ll do
  • Process components ensuring accurate and efficient casting operations.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Follow technical instructions and tight specifications to produce high-quality outputs.
  • Operate safely at all times, adhering to company health & safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in a hot, physically active setting.
