The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. New Pass Welcome!

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 01:30am - 06:00am starts

Pay Rate: 14.60 - 15.61 per hour

Location: Carlisle, CA6

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

  • Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Some deliveries/returns from addresses.
  • Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
