This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal Ecologist to work on a varied portfolio of projects across infrastructure, renewable energy, conservation and development sectors throughout the UK. Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Principal Ecologist or Senior Ecologist within consultancy
  • Strong ecological survey, reporting and project management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
  • Protected species licences desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related discipline
  • CIEEM membership desirable
  • Must live within commuting distance of the Cardiff office
