Join a growing flooring specialist where every delivery matters. TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring needs an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to keep our expanding network of branches fully stocked. You’ll play a vital role in our success, ensuring customers get the products they need when they need them.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform multi-drop deliveries safely and on schedule across our branch network.
- Oversee loading and unloading to ensure correct and safe handling.
- Conduct quality checks and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and safety regulations.
- Keep your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and damage-free.
- Report accidents or incidents immediately following company procedures.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection sheets for the Operations Manager.
What you’ll need:
- Valid commercial driving licence (C).
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and goods transport best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
