Our client is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join their energetic and forward-thinking team in Cardiff. This permanent position involves working on a variety of projects in the water sector, contributing to a multi‑billion‑pound pipeline of work required by the UK Water Authorities during AMP 8 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering Civil Engineering designs for water sector projects
  • Collaborating with a dynamic team to meet project goals
  • Ensuring compliance with Water Authority statutory approval processes
  • Contributing to Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) projects
  • Managing multiple projects to ensure timely and effective delivery
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Experience in the Water Industry
  • Civil Engineering degree
  • Progression towards or willingness to achieve Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM
  • Proficiency in 3D design and modelling using software like MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects effectively
  • Strong initiative and methodical approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
