A respected, design-focused architectural studio is seeking a skilled Architect to become part of its Cardiff team. With a legacy spanning more than five decades, the practice is known for delivering high-quality, sustainable schemes across the UK and overseas. It has earned a strong reputation for creating commercially effective, user-centred designs. The studio operates across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, working on projects in mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace sectors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take a leading and supporting role on projects across various RIBA stages
- Contribute to the development of design concepts through to technical execution
- Prepare and assess detailed drawings, specifications, and construction packages
- Work closely with internal colleagues, consultants, and external partners
- Maintain compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards
- Participate in and lead meetings, client presentations, and site inspections
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with ARB registration
- Proven experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Strong design flair combined with solid technical knowledge across all stages
- Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
- Proficient in Revit, with Adobe Creative Suite experience considered an advantage
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and well-organised mindset
