ALN Teachers Needed in Cardiff - September Start! Are you a passionate teacher looking to make a real difference supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? Do you want flexible and rewarding work across primary, secondary, and specialist ALN/SEND schools in Cardiff and surrounding areas? The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to ALN/SEND pupils
  • Support learners with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Work 1:1 and with small groups to support progress and engagement
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider support staff
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with ALN/SEND pupils is desirable but not essential
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to obtain registration
