We are delighted to be recruiting for a Line Leader on behalf of our client, based on the outskirts of Canterbury. Due to the location, own transport is essential.
Duration: Temporary to permanent (for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: 14.00 - 15.90 per hour (enhanced overtime rates available)
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all start-up checks and ensure the production line is set up efficiently and ready for operation.
- Communicate job priorities clearly to the team, keeping them updated on any changes.
- Ensure the correct product and materials are used, with all packaging and labels quality-checked before production.
- Train, support, and supervise packers, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and performance.
- Monitor production progress, regularly reviewing the minus sheet and updating job status in line with SOPs.
- Manage stock effectively by ordering stock as required, ensuring all items are QC-approved prior to use.
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly, ensuring lines are cleaned and packaging is returned at the end of each job.
