A leading Tier One civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in structures to support the delivery of a major highways infrastructure scheme in Kent. The business delivers complex projects across the UK, including highways, rail, aviation, utilities, and large-scale building developments for both public and private sector clients. This opportunity will see the successful candidate take responsibility for the structures package on a high-profile transport improvement project in the Canterbury area. The scheme includes the construction of a new link road featuring a substantial multi-span viaduct crossing a river corridor, surrounding floodplain, and an operational railway line. The Site Agent will work closely with the wider delivery team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality expectations.

About you:

  • Technical qualification (example degree in civil engineering or HND)
  • Proven technical organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of safety measures
  • Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work
  • Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
  • Experience in civil engineering
  • Must have experience in delivering major structures
