Location: Canterbury

Contract Type: Temporary contract until the 12th June, with the potential of extension

Salary: 13.39 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-3:45pm

Benefits: Weekly pay, up to 28 days annual leave, free on-site parking, access to benefits platform

Key Responsibilities

  • Looking after the external areas (emptying bins, sweeping the car park, full litter pick).
  • Assisting with receiving and processing deliveries.
  • Assist with minor maintenance jobs (replace door handles, paint walls, floors, doors, etc).
  • Contractor Control - meet contractors, carry out site inductions, monitor performance, gain updates on what was completed and report to management.
  • Assist students/staff with access.
  • Assist with PPMs and compliance checks (fire alarm tests, fire drills, roof checks, etc).
  • H & S walkarounds, report obstruction and safety concerns.
  • Disposal of various materials/waste from studios.
  • Assist with setting up rooms for lectures and events.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in Caretaking, Facilities, Maintenance or similar roles.
  • Ideally have previous knowledge of H&S.
  • Must have safety boots.
