TimePlan Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Nursery and Preschool Assistants to join our growing team of Early Years Practitioners across Cambridge and the surrounding areas. We have flexible temporary opportunities available every day, offering the perfect chance to gain valuable childcare experience, earn extra income, or take the first step into a permanent role within Early Years education - no formal qualifications or previous nursery experience required. Whether you are a student, looking for flexible work around another job, or considering a long-term career in childcare, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Supporting children aged 3 months to 4 years old in nursery and preschool settings
  • Assisting with daily activities, play, learning, and routines
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
  • Working alongside experienced Early Years staff across a variety of settings
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional, and educational development

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, reliable, and caring attitude
  • A genuine interest in working with young children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to different nursery settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • Ability to provide two professional references
  • Immediate availability is highly desirable.
