Our client is a national sales, parts and service business with many depots across the country. Employing over 550 staff, the company prides itself on providing excellent service and delivery to many sectors including agriculture, horticulture and construction.
An experienced Service Manager is required to work alongside a strong, motivated team in the Cambridgeshire area branch.
Role Purpose: Reporting directly to the branch manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the Service department, covering agricultural and some horticultural machinery. You will also be responsible for the organisation and management of the existing service staff, customer relations and departmental profitability, whilst maintaining effective and accurate communication between management, customers and technicians.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the agricultural engineering sector
- Previous management or supervisor experience
- Mentoring and overseeing the work of the technicians
- Familiarity of profit/loss, KPI targets and manufacturer warranty systems
8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (39 hour week)
