We are working with a leading engineering organisation specialising in high-performance RF, microwave, and mmWave technologies used in mission-critical applications across telecommunications, aerospace, and advanced communications systems. They are looking for a Senior RF / mmWave Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced RF subsystems. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong experience across design, simulation, and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF and mmWave circuits, components, and subsystems
  • Carry out RF system analysis, optimisation, and troubleshooting
  • Perform RF measurements, testing, and validation of hardware
  • Produce technical documentation including reports and test plans
  • Ensure designs meet specifications, standards, and customer requirements
  • Support product development from concept through to manufacturing
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Contribute to technical discussions, proposals, and customer engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' hands‑on RF engineering experience
  • Strong background in RF/microwave/mmWave design and development
  • Experience with simulation tools such as AWR and/or CST
  • Practical experience with RF testing and lab-based measurements
  • Strong understanding of RF systems (not purely antenna-focused)
  • Experience working across the full product lifecycle

Additional Information

  • Experience working at mmWave frequencies is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Altium is a plus
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
