Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer - PLC Engineer (Water Sector)
Location: Central England/East Anglia
Rate: up to £60 an hour
Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months
Responsibilities
- Develop Functional Design Specifications from customer control philosophies.
- Program, Test, and Commission PLC & HMI code to ensure flawless operations.
- Collaborate with Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC & HMI systems (experience preferred but not essential).
- Work with SCADA systems (experience preferred but not essential).
- Deliver high-quality projects for UK Water Authorities, with the option to leverage a strong automation or process background if water‑specific experience is limited.
- Manage tasks autonomously, demonstrating strong self‑motivation and initiative.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming and commissioning.
- Previous experience in process automation or water sector projects.
- A proactive, independent worker who thrives in a fast‑paced project environment.
