An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join a leading educational trust based in Cambridge on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis. This role will run until April next year, and within this role you will report into the Finance Business Partner. The role will be a hybrid working basis, with a 50/50 split between home working and being office based.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bank accounts, income, and reconciliations, resolving queries promptly
  • Process invoices and credit control, ensuring compliance with financial procedures
  • Support procurement and maintain accurate supplier records
  • Reconcile and post card expenditure
  • Oversee finance inboxes and provide responsive team support

Qualifications

As the successful candidate for this role, you will ideally have previous experience working within a similar finance role, with good knowledge of purchase ledger and banking. You will also have strong attention to detail, an ability to prioritise your workload in an effective manner, and be a strong communicator both on a written and verbal level.
