We are currently recruiting for an experienced Drylining Manager on behalf of a well-established contractor delivering a high-profile commercial scheme in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a Manager with strong technical expertise and a proven track record delivering drylining, partitions, and ceiling packages to a high standard, including British Gypsum (BG) systems and SAS ceiling installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site drylining activities from pre-start through to completion
- Manage installation of BG walls, partitions, and ceiling systems, alongside SAS ceiling packages
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and materials to ensure safe, efficient delivery
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, specifications, and quality standards
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, and other trades to maintain programme flow
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and enforce health & safety compliance
- Maintain accurate records including RAMS, progress reports, and site diaries
- Ensure all systems are installed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drylining Manager / Supervisor on commercial projects
- Strong hands-on experience with British Gypsum systems (essential)
- Experience with SAS ceilings installation
- SMSTS certification
- Gold or Black CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive programme delivery
