A leading pharmaceutical company is expanding its cGMP laboratory capabilities and is seeking an experienced Analytical Scientist to join its growing analytical team. The analytical scientist will be someone who is self-sufficient and experienced in a regulated environment as well as someone who is motivated by clear opportunities for progression based on performance and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead analytical activities such as sample analysis, troubleshooting and method development (HPLC, GC) within a cGMP laboratory environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across multiple analytical techniques.
  • Lead OOS/OOT investigations, including root cause analysis and closure of deviations and change controls within the QMS.
  • Interpret complex analytical data and justify deviations in line with GMP requirements.
  • Manage analytical projects from initiation through to reporting, ensuring quality, compliance and timelines are met.
Your Background
  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography techniques such as HPLC and/or GC, method development, validation and troubleshooting are preferable.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, Quality Management Systems and laboratory compliance.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.
