Teaching Assistant Location: Caerphilly Start Date: September Salary: £85 - £93 per day

The setting places a strong focus on supporting children’s individual needs and creating positive early learning experiences.

The nursery is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long‑term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with children within the nursery provision, supporting pupils with ALN, including Global Developmental Delay, while promoting engagement, communication and social development through a child‑centred approach.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an Early Years or nursery setting
  • Experience supporting children with ALN, particularly Global Developmental Delay
  • A good understanding of child development and early years learning
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A caring, patient and nurturing approach
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider nursery team
