Connect Appointments is recruiting a Cabin Fitter/Plumber to join an established cabin and container manufacturing business based in Bury. Our client manufactures and fits out site welfare cabins, containers and towable units, offering a varied daily workload across plumbing, carpentry and general fitting.

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:45pm - with an early Friday finish
  • £15.10 per hour + profit share bonus scheme

As a Cabin Fitter/Plumber, your duties will include:

  • Installing and repairing push fit, soldered and compression fit plumbing across waste and fresh pipework
  • Carrying out stud work, boarding, trimming and general fitting within cabins and containers
  • Interpreting production drawings to ensure precise installation of internal and external components
  • Testing and commissioning completed units to safety and quality standards
  • Operating and maintaining power tools and machinery in line with best practice
  • Adapting to a varied daily workload across manufacturing and installation tasks

To be considered as a Cabin Fitter/Plumber, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or equivalent experience
  • A multi-trade background with experience across plumbing and carpentry
  • The ability to interpret production drawings accurately
  • A proactive, team-focused approach to work
  • Must supply own tools and have the right to work in the UK
