We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to help run a manufacturing plant in Bury St Edmunds. Working hours are on a rotational basis of 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 (includes weekends).

Duties:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment
  • Ensure products meet quality standards
  • Help meet daily and weekly production targets
  • Keep the work area clean and safe
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental rules
  • Support stock control and stocktakes
  • Work with maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing or production
  • Ability to work with machinery
  • Good organisation and IT skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of production processes
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing (helpful but not essential)
