Logistics and Transport Coordinator

Location: Burton-on-Trent, UK

Salary: Up to 35,000pa (DOE)

Are you an experienced Logistics and Transport Coordinator looking to kick-start a new career for an established and growing Waste Management company? This role could be excellent for you!

My client is looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their team based in Burton-on-Trent, to manage and support drivers and the fleet of HGV Class 1 and 2 vehicles.

Working Hours: Full Time: Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • To schedule, plan and manage day-to-day customer collections.
  • Liaise with customers regarding waste collections.
  • Handle Traffic Office operations and administration.
  • Liaise with and manage drivers.
  • Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with and routing Heavy Goods Vehicles
  • Previous experience handling fleet management desirable
  • Previous experience speaking with and managing drivers
  • Previous experience working for a Waste Management or Skip hire company is desirable
