About the Role
- Lead small group sessions and deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Engage and motivate students to support their learning and development
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the care and learning needs of students with SEN
- Implement targeted interventions to meet individual student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, professionals, and families to deliver personalised learning plans
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with learning difficulties
- Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment
About You
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience within a school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly SEN, autism, and complex behaviours
- Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead groups independently
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to challenges
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed academically and personally
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
