Electrical Maintenance 48k + overtime - NG14 - 12-hour day shift (4on 4off)

The job: Working with one of the UK’s leading recycling and renewable energy manufacturers, you will be part of a maintenance team mostly purely electrical or mechanical. This opportunity is for an electrical technician and is responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance, PPM and emergency breakdown repair of all industrial plant and machinery. You will work in what can be a challenging environment with new and old equipment, ensuring processing is not interrupted as this industry is growing and essential to our planet's sustainability.

Requirements: It is expected that the successful candidate will have proven electrical experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing or process environment, a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship preferably with a City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification. The electrical maintenance technician will need excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to plan and work to tight timelines, knowledge of PLCs as well as older conventional plant machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic components.

Benefits: The basic salary for the electrical maintenance technician is 48k. Hours: Average 42 hrs. per week; 7am to 7pm (4on 4off). Holidays: 17 shifts per annum (equivalent to 25 days per year). Pension: Company contributions min of 7% up to 10%. Extras: Employee assistance program, free onsite parking.

Environment: Industrial, processing plant, can be a dirty environment, all PPE supplied.
