Social Housing Experience Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildings
- Identifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements
- Preparing survey reports with findings and recommendations
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance works
- Overseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of work
- Ensuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Assisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutions
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates
- Liaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments
- Supporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects
- Monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projects
- Keeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Conducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard
- Ensuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements
- Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
