Overview

Field Service Engineer Mobile Fleet Technician. Permanent day shifts. Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites? If so, then this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Callouts
  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Emergency Breakdowns
  • Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
  • MOT Preparation
  • Engine work and diagnostic investigations
  • Correction of running defects
  • Chassis and fabrication work
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Improvement of vehicle standards
  • Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working on a mobile basis, preferably Agricultural or Material Handling equipment.
  • Excellent understanding of vehicle technology; capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.
  • Class 2 licence would be beneficial.
  • Self-motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer, able to travel to clients' workshops in a designated area.
