Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to work with our national logistics and distribution client working from their distribution centre in Bromborough. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work and suitable start times.
Due to our client requirements, applicants MUST have at least 12 months Class 1 HGV experience with no more than 9 points on your licence.
Job Role Includes:- General haulage and trunking work.
- Monday to Friday, Weekend, day and night shifts available.
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Minimum 12 months recent relevant experience.
- Current CPC.
- No more than 9 points on licence.
- Follow all driving laws and company procedures.
- Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
- Ensure cargo is secured appropriately, adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and maintain a professional attitude on the road.
