Interaction Recruitment are currently looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to work with our national logistics and distribution client working from their distribution centre in Bromborough. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work and suitable start times.

Due to our client requirements, applicants MUST have at least 12 months Class 1 HGV experience with no more than 9 points on your licence.

Job Role Includes:
  • General haulage and trunking work.
  • Monday to Friday, Weekend, day and night shifts available.
Driver requirements:
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Minimum 12 months recent relevant experience.
  • Current CPC.
  • No more than 9 points on licence.
  • Follow all driving laws and company procedures.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality and safety at all times.
  • Ensure cargo is secured appropriately, adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
  • Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and maintain a professional attitude on the road.
