TeacherActive are proud to be working with a number of fantastic mainstream Primary Schools across Torquay, who are looking to recruit enthusiastic Supply Teachers for temporary teaching opportunities. These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, while providing staff with supportive and welcoming teams.

We are looking for a qualified Supply Teacher to work on a temporary day-to-day basis across EYFS, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Supply Teacher will be confident delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and adapting quickly to different Primary School settings and age groups. There is also potential for full-time and long-term opportunities for Supply Teachers who make a positive impression within the schools they support.

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • Primary teaching experience in the UK
  • Experience working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
