We're currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site based in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced environment, where you'll play a key role in ensuring site reliability and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across site equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime
- Work on a range of systems including motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance machine reliability and efficiency
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Accurately complete maintenance records using CMMS
About You
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems and controls
- Experience with PLCs (fault finding preferable)
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- A proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
