Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy and expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected national company offering a positive working environment and ongoing training opportunities.

The Role

  • Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers
  • Operating a truck-mounted Moffett forklift, training can be provided
  • Providing excellent customer service on a daily basis
  • Completing all deliveries in line with EU driving regulations
  • Start time: 6:30am until finish
  • Minimum of 8 hours per shift

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience
  • Valid Moffett / Truck Mounted Forklift licence (candidates will have an advantage)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Full Driver CPC qualification
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good written and spoken English

Additional Information: Candidates must understand and comply with all EU driving regulations. Due to insurance requirements, only drivers with minor licence points (such as SP offences) can be considered.
