Berry Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy and expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected national company offering a positive working environment and ongoing training opportunities.
The Role
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers
- Operating a truck-mounted Moffett forklift, training can be provided
- Providing excellent customer service on a daily basis
- Completing all deliveries in line with EU driving regulations
- Start time: 6:30am until finish
- Minimum of 8 hours per shift
Essential Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience
- Valid Moffett / Truck Mounted Forklift licence (candidates will have an advantage)
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Full Driver CPC qualification
- Good geographical knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
- Good written and spoken English
Additional Information: Candidates must understand and comply with all EU driving regulations. Due to insurance requirements, only drivers with minor licence points (such as SP offences) can be considered.
