Payment for daily supply teacher bookings will be between £130 and £180 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and distance travelled. We are looking for practitioners who can start ASAP. This role will involve working on a flexible basis covering either lessons outside your specialism, or purely teaching your specialism (if that is your desire/requirements - please note this could impact the amount of work available). You will be responsible for ensuring that students are behaving and making progress throughout the day, and responsible for ensuring that any safeguarding concerns or queries are passed on to the designated safeguarding lead. You will provide an integral role in the day to day running of the schools you are working in.
Consistency is extremely important for schools, so it is very likely that many of your shifts will be in the same school or set of schools, to ensure that the learners have a familiar face teaching them, you are well versed in school policies, and that you are comfortable within a school that is familiar to you. In these areas we are on excellent terms with a large number of schools, and have bookings available on a daily basis or a longer term basis depending on the needs of the schools at the time.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
