TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The school has a warm and inclusive ethos, with a strong focus on supporting pupils to achieve their full potential across all areas of learning. Staff work collaboratively to create a positive and engaging environment for both pupils and colleagues.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant on either a long-term or short-term basis. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to support teaching and learning across multiple Key Stages, delivering interventions, supporting small groups and covering classes where required. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting the successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant throughout their placement.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:
- HLTA qualification or relevant classroom support experience
- Experience working across multiple Key Stages within a Primary School setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to support pupils with varying learning needs
- A positive and proactive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
