The Role: Composite Laminators
Location: Brackley
Schedule: Permanent Monday to Thursday, 16:30-02:30 and Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: 35,360 per annum + 20% shift allowance for late shift
Sector: Engineering & Manufacturing (Automotive & Formula One)
Due to new contracts secured, we are seeking experienced carbon fibre composite laminators. You will be joining our client who are a leading manufacturing company working with high performance luxury automotive and motor sport clients. They are expanding their manufacturing team and are looking for experienced Composite Laminators. As part of the laminating team, you will be involved in crafting high-precision carbon fibre components. This is a hands-on, quality focused role in a cutting-edge production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Laminating carbon fibre parts (bumpers, bonnets, doors, quarter panels, windshield surrounds)
- Following technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring compliance with job card instructions
- Contributing to process improvement and efficiency
- Collaborating with internal teams
- Maintaining equipment and workstations
About You
You should have:
- Be an experienced Composite Laminator within Automotive or Motorsport sectors - Minimum of 2 years
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience with IATF 16949:2016 quality standards
- Familiarity with pre-preg and autoclave laminating processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication, time management, and organisation skills
