Contract Maintenance Engineers Long term & Ad Hoc Shifts
Locations: Nottingham, Lincoln, Tamworth, Leicester & Northampton
We are growing our Contract Maintenance team at Maintech Recruitment and are looking for experienced contract maintenance engineers across the Midlands and surrounding areas. We currently have opportunities for multi-skilled maintenance engineers to support both long term assignments & ad hoc shifts, carrying out both reactive and proactive maintenance duties across manufacturing and highly automated environments.
You will need to be electrically biased and hold relevant qualifications to a minimum Level 3 standard.
Rate: £35.00 - £40.00 per hour
Status: Outside IR35
What we are looking for

- Problem solve independently and make sound engineering decisions
- Deliver a consistently high standard of work
Skills and qualifications required
- Time-served electrical or multi-skilled apprenticeship
- Minimum City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3
- Strong fault-finding ability on automated machinery
- PLC interrogation knowledge; basic programming and testing would be a distinct advantage
- At least 5 years experience within manufacturing or highly automated environments maintaining production assets
- Own hand tools and PPE
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
