Our client Bolton council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the Safeguarding Children team.
- Undertake duty and home visits across Bolton.
- Meet statutory deadlines while handling a caseload.
- Prepare court reports and work with Child Protection and CIN processes.
- Flexible working arrangements balancing remote and office tasks.
- Travel to Bolton and be present in the office at Castle Hill on short notice when required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience as a Social Worker.
- Knowledge of Child Protection, Child Information Network (CIN), court reports and statutory processes.
- Ability to work within statutory deadlines and Safeguarding Team procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload.
- Willingness to travel to the office and attend statutory visits.
