Our client Bolton council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Safeguarding Children team.
  • Undertake duty and home visits across Bolton.
  • Meet statutory deadlines while handling a caseload.
  • Prepare court reports and work with Child Protection and CIN processes.
  • Flexible working arrangements balancing remote and office tasks.
  • Travel to Bolton and be present in the office at Castle Hill on short notice when required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Social Worker.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection, Child Information Network (CIN), court reports and statutory processes.
  • Ability to work within statutory deadlines and Safeguarding Team procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload.
  • Willingness to travel to the office and attend statutory visits.
