The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join a flagship infrastructure project in Blyth. This is a long-term position on a high-profile site, perfect for an operative who has a "civils" mindset and is looking for a steady run of work. This is not a general sweeping role; we are looking for a "Blue-Carded" Skilled Labourer who can assist our groundworks and civils teams on a fast-paced Tier 1 site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Groundworks Support: Assisting skilled groundworkers with drainage, kerbing, and concrete pours.
  • Site Logistics: Managing material deliveries and ensuring the work area is prepped for the following day's production.
  • Tool Operation: Safe use of basic power tools (Abrasive Wheels/Stihl saw experience is a major advantage).
  • Service Safety: Assisting in the safe location of services and helping maintain 100% pedestrian/plant segregation.
  • General Civils Support: Helping with the installation of utility ducting and structural foundations.

Requirements

  • CSCS Card: Blue (Skilled Worker) is preferred, but Green will be considered with relevant civils experience.
  • Essential: Valid Safety Critical Medical (Non-negotiable for this site).
  • Experience: Proven track record on heavy civils, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Reliability: Must be able to commit to the long-term duration and provide recent site references.
  • Logistics: Must be able to commute to the Blyth/Cambois area for an 07:30 start this Monday.
