We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our commercial building services team in delivering planned maintenance and reactive maintenance works across commercial environments in and around Buckinghamshire.

As the Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be carrying out works such as:

  • Emergency light testing
  • Sockets, circuits, lamps, ballasts
  • Temporary power supplies
  • Power distribution
  • Transformers
  • Cabling
  • 1st line faults to mechanical/HVAC building services equipment
  • Light fabric duties as and when required

Employment Package

  • Role: Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Status: Permanent, PAYE
  • Base Salary: £45,000
  • Expected Earnings: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Location/s: Mobile - within 2 hour radius of Milton Keynes
  • Travel time: paid after 30 minutes each way
  • Environments: Commercial - retail and similar
  • Hours: site hours 08:00am to 3-5pm (location dependant)
  • Paid overtime between x1.5 - x2 rates
  • Call out rota: 1 in 8 weeks: £100 standby + minimum of 4 hours if called out
  • 34 days paid annual leave (26 + bank holidays)
  • Company van (business use), fuel card, uniform, pension, phone and other internal company benefits

Works: Electrical planned maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance/remedial and 1st line faults to building services systems/equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified Electrician, ie: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3 2330, City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 or equivalent
  • Up to date regulations: 18th edition
  • Must have a UK driving license with 9 points or under
  • Experience working within commercial environments previously, ideally within a maintenance based position
