Location: Milton Keynes with some hybrid working

Salary: Day rate around (Apply online only)pd with a temp to perm role incoming after 3-6 months

The Role: A respected civil engineering contractor working on niche concrete floor projects is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The role will support the company as it grows in gaining accreditations and putting processes in place for fire risk, compliance and more. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in H & S and HSE processes, putting all new structure in place for this small company who are growing and continue to be successful. The role will be based in the Milton Keynes office with some home working/hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional Health & Safety support across the company
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Promote a strong HSE culture across site teams and subcontractors
  • Assist in the development of new processes across the business
  • Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Report regularly to HSEQ management on performance, findings, and improvements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Health & Safety role
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or higher)
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and current HSE legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Full UK driving licence
