We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Operative to join our client based in Broughton, Milton Keynes. This is a full-time position offering a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and functional outdoor and indoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining the overall upkeep of the outdoor courtyard area
- Keeping all external areas clean, tidy, and presentable
- Cutting grass and carrying out basic gardening duties using domestic equipment
- Carrying out general DIY tasks, including changing light bulbs and sockets
- Supporting with general labouring duties as required
- Completing basic plumbing work, including maintenance of pipework and toilets
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role preferred
- Practical DIY skills and basic knowledge of plumbing and general repairs
- Ability to use gardening equipment and hand held power tools safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
