You will join a major infrastructure scheme based in the Birmingham area, operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a live HS2 project environment. Working site‑based, you will take commercial responsibility for key work packages, ensuring effective cost control and contract administration under NEC. This role will involve managing subcontractor accounts, leading applications for payment, administering change through industry‑standard systems, and working closely with the delivery team to drive commercial performance from procurement through to final account.
Qualifications- Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
- Experience managing subcontract packages through their full lifecycle
- Background within civil engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Ability to manage CVRs, forecasting, and change control processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on site
- Experience within ground engineering, piling, or major civils works
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB or similar)
