About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a supportive, inclusive secondary school in Moseley. As a SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons to students with diverse SEND profiles. You'll work closely with support staff and external professionals to implement IEPs, EHCPs nurture student progress, and promote positive learning outcomes both academically and emotionally.
What We're Looking For
- QTS with SEN classroom experience (at least 6 months in the UK)
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Experience teaching students aged 3-19 with SEND
- A flexible, resilient approach and strong commitment to safeguarding
- Ability to create a nurturing classroom where every student can thrive
Desirable (but not essential)
- Additional SEND qualifications (e.g., PGCE in SEND, Level 5 or 7 in Special Education)
- Experience working with EHCPs
- Training in de-escalation techniques (e.g., MAPA, CPI, PMVA)
