Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join the dynamic and welcoming team at a primary school in Sparkhill, Birmingham. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to nurture and inspire Year 6 students, preparing them for their transition to secondary school.
As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of the students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver an outstanding curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues, contribute to the school's wider community, and actively participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
This is a full-time position to start in September, for the full academic year. In order to be considered for this position you need:
- To be able to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, such as extracurricular activities, school events, and parental engagement programs.
- To engage in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
- To contribute to the wider school community and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school improvement activities.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a PGCE.
- Have proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 6.
- Be passionate about education and dedicated to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students.
