We are a large local authority currently implementing Oracle Fusion. We seek an interim Transactional Finance Manager to lead the Surge Team during the go‑live and hyper‑care phase.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3 AR/AP supervisors, an HR/Payroll lead, 3 business analysts, and approximately 10 finance assistants.
  • Oversee pre‑go‑live, go‑live and post‑go‑live activities, ensuring business continuity, rapid resolution of system issues and defects, and intensive end‑user support.
  • Coordinate AR/AP triage, run daily stand‑ups, review issues, prioritize tickets and escalations.
  • Communicate with project leadership and Finance Directors; provide end‑user support for Oracle users in P2P, S2C, GL and PBCS modules.
  • Manage security and access for finance modules, handle role allocation, and operate within Oracle Risk Management Cloud controls (period‑end and ledger lock).
  • Perform monthly AP & AR reconciliations to GLs and continue development of live service remediation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in transactional finance across P2P, S2C, GL and PBCS within Oracle Fusion (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion and experience working in a go‑live implementation.
  • Ideally prior experience in local government.
