We are recruiting for an E&P Design Engineer to work as part of a team delivering the electrical design for assigned projects, under the direction of the project's Lead Engineer.
Main Duties
- Delivering designs that meet the requirements set by the Lead Engineer.
- Completing designs within the timescales agreed with the Lead Engineer.
- Planning and organising allocated design tasks to achieve the agreed programme.
- Identifying any changes to the client's requirements and escalating these to the CRE/Lead Engineer.
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure including railway lineside systems (points heating, signalling power, level crossings, LV distribution) and/or lighting, small power, containment, earthing or fire alarms.
- Experience in the use of Trimble ProDesign/Electrical OM, Microstation and/or Relux/Dialux Design Software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision within a team environment.
